Driven by a passion for music and words, Missonne is an extraordinary artist, composer and performer, whose musical universe is at the intersection of French song and sound collage.
After a formal training, from the family piano to the conservatory, Missonne explores the world of sound on her own, using two dictaphones and a synthesizer. She thenjoins the Didier Lockwood Music Center for a two-year jazz course.
She enters the "Centre des Musiques de Didier Lockwood" for a two-year jazz program, as “sharp 11” and “B diminished” chords appeal to her more than concertos or chamber music.
Her piano playing takes on a new direction. Mixing classical music and jazz, her compositions immediately reflect this new influence and come closer to the French "Chanson".
Her light, scholarly and inventive melodies serve as a backdrop for texts with a sometimes squeaky humor, sometimes burlesque, where poetry and kindness emerge at all times.
This new inspiration leads her to the Manufacture chanson, where she meets various artists whom she chooses to accompany to get to grips with the stage. She unveils in 2015 a first self-produced album, Attentive Panic
Today, she performs regularly in Paris and in the provinces, presenting a repertoire of rare freshness, creating an instant bond with the public.
